1:87 scale model of a Caravan decorated in a Ivory/Quartz Grey colour scheme.

The first glance was enough - and the name said it all: the Sportberger L3 went down in caravan history simply as "the egg". In the 1950s, it marked the beginning of a leisure society in Germany. The kidney shape, which was extremely popular at the time and ultimately turned the caravan into a “square egg”, dates back to the late 1930s, when the first caravans ensured the independence of their car owners. Those summer visitors should still enjoy the Sportberger in the 1950s. Ultimately, holiday life took place in front of the caravan – at night it was considered safe accommodation.
